Laura Nguyen, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant practicing general dermatology and assisting in surgeries with Dr. Fakhouri. She was born and raised in Houston and graduated from Cypress Falls High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences at The University of Texas and then pursued her goals of becoming a physician assistant by working as a dermatology medical assistant.

During her time as a medical assistant, she met Dr. Fakhouri and began learning from him and assisting during surgeries. She then went on to complete her masters in physician assistant studies at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed two of her clinical rotations with Dr. Fakhouri as a student and graduated with high honors as a member of Alpha Eta. Laura’s personal interests include trying new restaurants, traveling, dancing, weight lifting and spending time with her family, friends and new puppy.
